We're getting there!

Apart from Richard (who logs into this site more times than Google has searches performed), I happen to view the site a lot, and I get bored very easily! Rather than simple redesign though, I am steadily adding new functionality (thanks to my new found love of Javascript) and moving the site slowly towards something I can almost look at. You must admit it's been abit 1995 around here recently!

Just incase you're wondering what is new:

1) A few bugs have been squashed. (No doubt a few more introduced, *grin*)

2) Forum remembered which threads you have opened (using 'View Thread') and which ones you have read (changes colour from yellow to lighter yellow)

3) One click login. Just click login and providing you have the cookie from the last 30 days, the forum instantly logs you in.

4) TinyMCE editor for posts allowing some simplistic Word-esque functions.

5) Links to the directory and generally nicer to look at.

You thoughts and suggestions always welcomed (even if I don't immediately implement them!)

I don't log in a lot for 2 reasons you cheaky bugger - I visit

1 - you have to log/visit in to post/edit and delete

2 - in the past spam etc was a bit of an issue, so visiting often helped say on top of this

oh, and I've found you another bug smart arse [cheaper than a present, and a lot more fun]

when you are viewing the site but not logged in, if you click the post reply link, it logs you in but sends you back to the home page, where you have to find the post you wanted to reply to again

Fixed that I think. I'm going to tackle the font sizes on the post page now as they're a little small!
