Not holding my breath (yet) for widespread success of this, but Google and Adobe have announced that Google is now able to index Flash content.

From Google:

However it sounds like there are still some significant issues that even surround the industry-standard methods of developing and embedding Flash files within HTML.

"1. Googlebot does not execute some types of JavaScript. So if your web page loads a Flash file via JavaScript, Google may not be aware of that Flash file, in which case it will not be indexed."

One would hope that the usual javascript detection code isn't included in that 'excluded' code.
No kidding. Flash has it's own, which is probably allowed. But we've opted for SwfObject and SwfAddress...I hope SourceForge was included in their discussions.

How delightfully vague of a comment from them, huh?
